NZ On Air is a government broadcast funding agency who fund and distribute local content for broadcast on traditional radio and television. NewTracks is a platform that allows Broadcasters to listen and download the latest selected music from around New Zealand.
Working with NZ On Air we replaced their existing platform with one suited to their requirements. The platform needed to be accessible online and support their vision to distribute funded music to broadcasters and the industry.

NewTracks removed the manual process previously used to administer the final compilation of the NewTracks disc. The platform also allowed applicants to submit their track to be reviewed for the monthly compilation. NZ On Air accepts the tracks they want to proceed to the final disc and this is produced digitally and in a hard-copy format. Once the disc has been produced NZ On Air are able to release the compilation to the broadcaster portal for listening and downloading by broadcasters.
