Te Māngai Pāho is a Crown Entity established to make grants available to support the production and broadcast of Māori language television programmes, radio programmes, music recordings and new media innovations.
Te Māngai Pāho's original system was a paper-based process, absorbing lots of administration time. Applicants would send in their paper applications, assessors would manually assess each application and a board letter recommendation would be manually genearated by a member of the staff. This approach relied heavily on Te Māngai Pāho's staff to manage, facilitate and administer.

Working with Te Māngai Pāho and their stakeholders, we designed and built (while continuing to expand and enhance) a cloud-based solution. This solution streamlines the entire funding process and automates aspects wherever possible to reduce the administrative workload. This new approach removes the potential possible loss of information and enables all Te Māngai Paho's staff to focus on higher-value activities.
